Abstract: This book discusses suicide and attempted suicide among children and adolescents. Research from many different nations is used, providing a broad base from which conclusions are deduced. The book details multiple dimensions of suicidal behavior including the possible causes, motives, and precipitants, and personal and interpersonal consequences following suicidal attempt. Theoretical issues, clinical management, treatment, and prevention are also presented.
