I feel like I have been repeating myself lately, but yet again, I have read an amazing book! 
Kristin finally got out of a marriage I couldn't imagine living in. Scott was an awful guy and I was happy she got out of that fast. The way this book was written, it had me laughing and crying with the characters. Kristin has an amazing group of friends who stand by her no matter what. I know that Eli is from another Corinne Michaels book, so I will definitely picking up that one soon. Noah was quite the surprise. As an actor, he wasn't the typical arrogant guy you would expect. He is the exact opposite. There is an immediate connection to Kristin that just won't go away. He treats a woman the way they should be treated. Through tears, laughter and love Kristin builds herself a new life. There are some bumps in the road, but life would be boring without them! I couldn't put this book down and it left me wanting more! These are characters that I will keep thinking about. Even though it seemed like the characters had an instant connection, this didn't feel fake. This is something I normally do not like at all. I feel that a connection needs to grow, so it's a big thing if I say it didn't bother me. While the connection may have started rather fast, I loved the way it slowly grew. Corinne Michaels is an amazing writer and I need more books by her now! Why did I wait so long to read something by her?

This is my first ever audio book. I really enjoyed listening to this book. It's really opened my eyes to how audible books can help you out with your reading goals and being able to read while doing other things.

I just didn't love this book. I just randomly picked it up and it was exactly what I expected it to be. A cute, funny romance with a bit of drama. I just wasn't as intrigued with this book as I have been with books like this in the past.

I really like that the focus of this book isn't about two young people falling in love. It's a realistic book. 

Kristen is in the midst of her divorce when she meets her new love interest, Noah. They work through their new relationship with plenty of hardships. I really like that this really could apply to people in real life. (Minus the whole her shacking up with an actor, that's not really that realistic.)

This book made me laugh out loud quite a few times. This book also made me blush. I've never actually listened to a sex scene being narrated before and I had to turn it off out of embarrassment even though I was mostly alone. 

There was drama in this book. It was pretty interesting but I think it was a bit too much for this story. I just don't like how CM turned Scott's new girlfriend into a conniving woman.

I love Kristen. She's a relatable character and I just love her. She's so sensitive to her children and I respect that about her. She was scared to introduce Noah to them knowing it was too soon. She's a heartwarming character who deserves the world. 

Honestly, I didn't really care for Noah. I feel like she doesn't need a famous guy to be in her life after it was turned upside down. I just don't think he was worthy of her.

I loved all of the side characters. They each had a personality of their own. Everyone in this book made me laugh out loud at least once. 

Romance Rating: 1.5/5 Stars
I really didn't care for Kristen and Noah's relationship. I thought she went into really quick after her marriage and fell way too quick. I just don't like the insta-love. I feel like she didn't even have enough time to mourn her previous marriage before jumping into a relationship. 

I think I really hated their relationship due to the fact that Noah is an actor. It just seems over the top for me.

I can't lie, the first thing that caught my attention about One Last Time was the cover. I fell in love with it when I began seeing it all over social media and I promptly added the book to my wishlist. It wasn't long before I made time to dive right on in and read it in a weekend. 

I absolutely loved Kristin from the start. I applauded her for her strength in the situation with Scott, who by the way, I wanted to punch in the junk multiple times throughout this book. She deserved so much better, but I'd imagine it's scary being a single mom who is starting your life over again. She was amazing and resilient and I loved seeing her get a second chance at love with someone who actually deserved her. 

Noah was all kinds of freaking swoony. Seems like so many famous heroes are jerks, but he was one hell of a good guy. He was all in for Kristin, finding ways for them to spend more time together, from the very start. He treated her like an queen and I loved it so much. It was wonderful to see a character get the attention and affection they deserve, especially after being taken advantage of for so long. 

Their chemistry was apparent from their first meeting and it only grew from there. I enjoyed reading the progression of their relationship to friends and then more than that. I loved how things grew between them. Noah was swoony, sexy, attentive and treated her — and her kids — very well. Corinne really was living the dream. Of course, their relationship wasn't without drama and a wee bit of angst. My heart broke a bit when the big conflict came along, but I hoped they would find a way to pull through it. What they had was special and it was worth fighting for. 

One Last Time is my first Corinne Michaels book, but it certainly won't be my last. I fell in love with her words, characters and their stories. This was a beautiful romance that delivered feels for days.
