*Update* Prior to rereading this book, I read some of the other reviews. One of them stuck in my head, one that mentioned the absurdity of someone receiving full FBI security for a stalker. While that reviewer left out the past kidnapping, death of a twin sister in that kidnapping, and the continued high profile nature of her father's job. Even so, I do see how Henderson stretches the suspension of disbelief in the book although I found that more with the relationship between Adam and Sara. That being said, I still enjoyed the book although I did lower my previous rating from 4 to 3 stars. This book survives round two of the purge from my personal collection.

I enjoyed this book much more than those of her other series. The suspense is believable. (Thankfully I don't know much about those kind of situations in real life. All I know is books.) I loved all the characters, especially the protagonists. The only thing that seemed a bit lacking to me was the kidnapper's motivation for continuing to haunt Sara's life. I wish that had been explained more. I also appreciate how well Ms. Henderson wove God and the faith of the characters into this book. So often Christian authors decide that it's their job to preach to their readers, witness to them. Henderson's allusions to faith and God flow naturally.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes mild Christian suspense.
