Edward Prentice, a young naturalist, is shipwrecked in the Pacific Ocean. There he meets Dr Moreau, a scientist who has been using the island as a laboratory for his 'experiments' - the creation of the terrifying Beast People. Prentice's arrival sparks events which culminate in tragedy...
