What a cute read. I was well aware that this was written for children, but I still enjoyed it. I was sad to say goodbye to an original character from the Little Women novel, but it was a good way for his character to go, I suppose. Nonetheless, it was charming and cute.

While I love 'Little Women', this was only ok. Felt more of a children's book in style of writing than an adult book and just failed to engage me.

In all fairness, I was not a hardcore little women fan, but wanted to see if I liked this book as an adult as much as I did as a kid.

Verdict: Eeeeeeeh? ... I guess? Not particularly much happens and the Good Moral Character angle is brought up a lot, but I like seeing what the characters do after the first book and it’s interesting to see everyday life in the time period.
