           Beautiful. Amazing. Cry-worthy. 

Pixie and Gaze are my new favorite otp. I’ve read other childhood best friend books, but I’ve never felt this sure that two twelve years olds were meant to be together. They loved each other then, and that never changed. I loved that they saved each other in different parts of their lives. I loved that Pixie sacrificed everything to save him. She gave up herself. I love Gaze as a character and the positive changes he had when he found his real family. I fully agree with some other reviews, I’m glad their weren’t details about what happened to her. Because I would be right there with Gaze. Trying to figure out if we can kill someone who’s already dead. I love when book prologues are a point in the story, a cliffhanger. I was so happy when I got to that part and had context about what happened. I love that Gaze is still getting adopted and they’ve basically taken in Pixie. They family have a real loving family. And over all, they will always have each other.
