This was my first read from Dee Garcia and holy crap, I loved this! This is a duet and does end in a cliffhanger {sort of) so I can't say much but I'll try my best to give a coherent review.

1) If you hate cliffhangers, don't worry. While I am DYING for the second part, it's not a cliffhanger that will have you hating the author. The ending was the perfect end for the first part of a duet. 

2) I am torn between Angel and Andres. Dee Garcia managed to write 2 different love interests for Benni that I absolutely adore. If I had to choose for myself, I would choose Angel. But for Benni? Yeah I have no idea.

3) Oh.my.god Benni! Her strength is amazing! There was not a single moment when I was annoyed with her --even when she was being hardheaded and blind lol. She does not take any crap from anyone but still loves and cares for her family. Her character was completely real and you could see the 'why' after every decision. 

While I adore Angel and Andres, Benni stole the show and did not let go of it for one second. I need more from Benni and cannot wait for book 2, Arcangel.
