This book was terrible.

I have rarely ever said that about a book before. I knew early on, and should have abandoned the book rather than waste time reading it, but I'm a stubborn fool.

This book had absolutely nothing of what made Dee Henderson a favorite author of mine several years. Last year when I reread the books of hers that I owned, I started to see the flaws come to the forefront. Most of those books survived round two of the purge from my personal collection. This book will never come near my personal collection.

This book dragged on forever. It had such potential to be a good book with a compelling case. However, Henderson dragged it down by taking out every single bit of suspense from the book. The reader knows from the beginning that Ann and Paul will end up married. The reader knows how the book will end. The reader knows all of the twists and turns that appear in the book but aren't surprises at all.

Do yourself a huge favor.

Stay away from this book. Stay far, far away from this book.

Paul Falcon is an FBI agent with the one case that he can't catch a break on. Ann Silver is an MHI who blows that case wide open. What happens after that makes for an action filled romance.
