Book does nothing but make me angry. For all its length is missing discussions on people who don't fall neatly into either male or female. It just keeps going back to recapitulating the standard stereotypes for the author's neck of the woods. ARGH!

Okay honestly, I hated this book. I probably would have liked it more if I didn't have to read it for school, but I did. And I hated it. 

The author just lists theories about gender differences over and over again, then tells us they're wrong, and moves on to the next one, repeats it over and over again... I think the point was that there isn't really any hardwired differences, but it just felt like the author was trying to reach a word limit and stretching everything out as long as she could. The topic was somewhat interesting, but still... At one point the author talks about people testing emotions on a dead salmon... that was the point where I lost it.

I screamed in frustration while reading this book.

Never read it unless you have no choice.
