I didn't fall for Juno or it's cutey-hip lingo, but I liked this memoir. It was funny and informative (I learned about the very shady and unfair payout system that the strip clubs demand from their workers along with all the other ins and outs of stripping & peep shows). Diablo doesn't get very self-reflective on why she chose to dabble in sex work for a year except to kick up the jams from her hum-drum white bread life. But it's fun and Diablo comes across as funny and likeable and, unlike in Juno, I didn't even mind the verbal humdingers here.
