I like how this book had colloquial language so that made it relatively easy to read but it was a bit bizarre. I think the point was for us to dislike the main character because he had a messed up mind set and he ended up getting screwed over in the end so he remained anonymous but sort of had a happy ending.

I like the “diary” style of the book but the actual story itself is meh. I think the whole point is to kind of hate the mc, no wonder he stayed anonymous. Very real insight on the mind of a narcissist who complains a lot.

I expected this book to be bad, but never have I ever thought it would be THIS BAD. The main character has serious mental problems, no wonder the author is anonymous. The writing style is bad and so repetitive, waste of time.

This felt as though it was written for the shock factor. Writing through the lens of a immoral narrator can be interesting and inventive, but this felt like the imagination of a narcissistic man.

i haven’t finished it and i’m not rlly sure if i want to!! it’s not a bad book but he’s just such a horrible person and i get angry rlly easy lol! i did snap the spine of the book bc i got so mad! i only got to page 35 and it took me like a week to get there and i can read a whole (300-400page) book in a day!! mainly because i had so much to say and i annotate so it took me so long to annotate

Honestly I don't even know where to start. No no hate to the words written on this book because I thought they were real and even though the person that wrote this had so much hatred within himself I feel like he was honest even if we didn't want to hear what people think. To be honest with you I feel like there's so many people that think this way men or female but there's so much hatred that we are In disbelief that someone can actually feel the weight this person felt. With that being said I thought this book was terrible and not the actual writing but the book itself. I felt this person what's a terrible person and hated people woman specifically so bad. He was very narcissistic and had a masochistic personality and that is something that I can't stand in men. I pushed through the bug because like any other person felt like there has to be a reason why he was the way he was which theorist but I feel like it's not enough reason to treat Woman the way he treated them. With that being said I push through the book it took me a while probably the longest it has ever been but I am proud that I push through it and I actually finish reading it.

Ps. The reason why I gave it three stars was because I just love the fact that the author was so honest and real and even though we hated seeing the words on page I felt like it was one of the truest most realist book ever.

Okay, so I might not be on the same wavelength as most of the people reviewing this, BUT
1. I will abstain from providing a x/5 rating because this seems to me like a memoir. Sure, it might be a very elaborated story to seem like a memoir, in which cause kudos to whoever wrote this. Anyway, memoirs shouldn't be rated in my opinion, since you can't exactly rate someone's life story.
2. As for the writing style, I thought this was quite nice. First 30 pages are quite weird, as if someone got drunk and tried to hurriedly write down their blackout thoughts in a journal. Which I later thought made sense since the first 30 pages are describing the part of the character's life when they were heavily drinking. Maybe this is a bit of a stretch, but that's how I understood the shift in the writing style. If I'm right, this is really interesting!
3. The MC gets a lot of hate, which I also felt myself during the first pages, since it wasn't clear exactly why the hell are they doing all that stuff. In the end though, it seems to me like this is a very raw and accurate account of people riddle by the illness that is alcoholism. Not justifying the MC's actions in the beginning, of course, but I am saying that their follow-up questions were showcasing the need for change and bringing your life together. From the context of the MC being a former alcoholic, the initial course of their actions makes more sense, like is mentioned in the beginning that the Pen incident occurred because she was getting in the way of the drinking. Alternatively, I also thought that said incident might have occurred because, while in that stage alcoholism was unavoidable by the character, what could have been avoided was hurting a very dear person in the process.
4. I disagree with the synopsis of the book. The only resemblance between the love interest here and Lolita was that the former 'looked young'. 

Oh well, I read this in almost one sitting and towards the end I thought it became very suspenseful. It's definitely a very peculiar account and I want to read the sequels as well. Ultimately, very happy this book got published before the photographic account of the love interest (if I was right and this is indeed a memoir). Cheers!
