Well, I had a hard time liking this. The story should have appealed to me, but sadly did not. I just never connected with the heroine, Kate, and she seemed to whine throughout the entire book. And everything was way too centralized around Vincent and his life and their love. There was absolutely nothing about Kate's life outside of Vincent. Maybe if Kate's life had more than just OMG Vincent! then I might have liked the book better. Kate kept saying how Vincent appeared 'dangerous,' but I never got that feeling from reading about him. He just seemed like this starstruck guy ridiculously in love, and not dangerous at all. The villain seemed too typical, although the witty remarks during the big fight were amusing (not sure if they were supposed to be or not...) But overall, I didn't like this book too much, but it was still an okay read. I suppose I'll be reading the next book to see what happens next.
