Vaughan and Lydia meeting is just the best, funny as all get, sure maybe not the best way but hell if I went through what Lydia had to see I would have done the same. The friendship and romance that developed is just beautiful and at times just plain funny. 

This was a light, romance book I needed to get me out of the darkness I was in after my last read. I absolutely love all of Kylie Scott's book and this one did not disappoint. I read it in one sitting couldn't put it down.

All the characters are just great. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I'm ready for Twist!!

Dirty, is the newest and latest novel of a new series which is mildly connected to her Stage Dive Series. Its sets off when our heroine finds out that her fiancee, on her wedding day is very much gay and has been hiding it from her and everyone else has too especially his parents. So in desperation she sneaks out the bathroom window and into the neighbors bathtub and to be found by the owner of the house  "Vaughan". Vaughan has come home out of necessity but then he meets this sassy lady and decides to stay a little bit longer and work at his sisters bar. I really had a blast with this couple so much. We get some fun smexy times between them, their chemistry is pipping hot, but I also loved the way they interacted on a human level. The heroine struggles quite a bit here, and Vaughan is the perfect hero to help her out. We are also introduced to some new characters (and man I can't wait for future books especially with Vaughan's sister) and a visit with some old characters which were quite amusing. It was quite interesting to see how this story played out which was different from what I expected. Dirty is a story that has you fully engaged from the beginning, I read this in one sitting and loved the romance and the new characters and some fun and lively scenes that had me laughing way more than I expected. So If you are a fan of Kylie Scott or heartwarming contemporary romances...then pick this one up.

I really enjoyed this, I barely have time/space to read these days so finding an cute easy read was great. I liked the characters and the story in general, it wasn't too revolutionary and it was too insta-love for my taste but I still liked it.

Ok so this may not be THAT detailed, mainly as I finished reading this, and then immediately had to go read some other KS books from the Stage Dive series so it is not hugely fresh in my mind.

All in I really enjoyed this, it is typical KS humour that we came to know and love in Stage Dive, yet manages to pack an emotional punch at the same time. Some authors, who write on the more humorous side, sometimes take it to far for me, to the detriment of an actual emotional story that can draw you in and love the characters. KS manages to balance that perfectly for me.

And while this book takes place over a very short time frame, and as such is majorly a case of insta lust/love, you sort of forget that, or at least forgive it as it is just such an enjoyable read.

I loved both the heroine and the hero, and the chemistry jumps off the page.

And with a cast of characters that all sound very interesting, I cannot wait to carry the series on.

I've been excited about Dirty since I first heard about it ... and then, of course, when I helped with the cover reveal, I fell in love with that jaw. Rawr. I think I did a pretty good job restraining myself from reading it immediately – which was no small feat, let me tell you. I enjoyed her Stage Dive series so much I couldn't wait to see what she would give us next. And this book? So. Freaking. Good. If you enjoyed the Stage Dive series, this needs to be on your TBR. 

Dirty was one of those books that made me put literally everything else in my life on hold. I loved Lydia and Vaughan's meet cute. It was all so deliciously over the top and hilarious that I just couldn't stop reading once I started. The whole book was laugh out loud funny and awkward and sexy as hell. (And it even packed a fair few feels along the way, too.) I couldn't get enough of these two – or, you know, the secondary characters who also won my heart. 

Lydia and Vaughan were wonderful characters. Despite their unconventional meeting, they just clicked from the start. There chemistry was incredible. Their banter had me quite literally laughing out loud. I loved that they didn't take much of anything too seriously. This meant that even the big conflict wasn't overly angsty or forced. I mean, it still made me tear up a little, but it fit them and the story so well that it still felt right, even though it was splitting them up. They were supposed to just be two ships passing, friends with benefits with an expiration date... but could they be more permanent? Could they both find a way to get what they wanted out of life and keep each other? You know I'm not going to answer those questions. You'll just have to read and find out for yourself. The journey is half the fun.

I was excited about the Dive Bar series before I even read the first book because it meant more Kylie. Well, after finishing I'm even MORE excited. The cast of characters is fantastic and there is so much story to tell there. I can't wait to get it all. And bonus, if the other books are anything like this one, we'll even get a little taste of some of our favorite Stage Dive characters along the way. Bonus!
