I am always weary of essentially "part II" of a book, but I was really quite pleased. As far as memoirs go, Burroughs has a way of writing that makes you feel incredibly depressed, amused, and contemplative all in the same moment. I like that he's not afraid to have parts in the book where you can't stand his character. There were several times while reading I though to myself "What an ass..." But I kept reading, because you became involved in his story.
