2. I wasn't expecting the ending, AT ALL, but it had been 2 years since my last tryst with Coelho, and I had forgotten how well he knows the reader's deepest desire. (No pun intended, for a change)
3. Coelho does not like to etch women characters that won't stir controversy. 
4. Ironically, some of the best female protagonists I've read are his creation.

Beautiful story, completely changed the way I look at prostitution. I was ignorant with my opinion about prostitutes before reading this book as I never really got the chance to think about them or understand their struggles, I quickly judged. This book is a mind-expander. The story is easy to read and enjoyable, will get you hooked just like a lot of Paulo Coelho books. Recommended.

Had to read the Alchemist for school and came across Eleven Minutes as well so i decided to pick it up. I don't think i've read a book quite like it. I loved the depth of the perspective and insight it gave into the life of the narrator. Such a beautiful story and i definitely would read it again!

           When I first discovered what this book was about, I didn't know if I should read it at all. Prostition is not something I am interested in. It was a nice book to read though, but I didn't agree with how wonderful things turned out for someone who willingly chose a life of prostitution.
