Her writing is about being born in a much earlier and simpler time, before the great technological advances. She writes about childhood memories and experiences and education in a rural area in a small community in North Western Ontario. Life raising a large family, working and eventual changes are also described to some extent. Some of her thoughts in poetry are included and, as well as some thoughts on certain aspects of life.
