This story starts off with Sloan and Bella dating in high school and falling madly in love. Sloan had a hard life growing up and doesn’t feel like he deserves Bella and thinks he will hold her back in life. So after graduation, Sloan decides to walk away from Bella and join the military without saying anything to her. So what happen six years later when Sloan shows back up in their home town ready to claim everything he left behind? 

Omg!! I love them two together so much!! You could tell from the first interaction they had together after all those years, they were meant to be with each other! The fact that neither one of them had moved on from each other since high school spoke volumes. From the way they looked at each other to the way they care for each other’s needs.
