Set in a post-apocalyptic world, Vivy, with an insecure and gentle character but still tied to the past that pursues her, finds herself in a terrifying adventure together with Eva, a girl who on the contrary has buried the past but who hides a secret.

I've read this in a very short time. I enjoyed reading it. The designs and the various colors are well made, both pleasant and terrifying, when needed. It's a little bit confusionary, I still have so many questions. I don't know if there was a problem with the traduction, but I think there are some missing points. Nevertheless It was not that bad! The story it's really beautiful and addictive, and really scary! Few characters, but essential and I found the ending a little emotional. I recommend it for a light reading.

What the fuck...was that? How did this get published? Not in a wow, that plot was awful kind of way, but it seemed more like an outline than a story? I felt as if I was reading SparkNotes but in images. Maybe this could have been something if it were a series, but everything felt so rushed and confusing and underdeveloped. I'm finding it hard to even produce the words to describe the experience of reading this. Don't waste your time is the take away, I guess. What a mess.

I received this as an ARC from netgalley, but all opinions are my own. It was originally published in Germany in 2012 and is being adapted to English.

This book pulled me in with the cover and the gorgeous art work. I also was curious about a horror type graphic novel which is something new to me. I am not sure if some points got lost in the translation, but I found this book confusing. There just wasn't enough information for me to understand the zombies and their relationship to humans. They acted like typical zombies at times and at other times not and I don't know what to think of them. I feel like the author was trying to convey something, but it just didn't come across. I also didn't believe in the relationship between the 2 main characters and so this just didn't pull together well for me.

The art style was nice and I liked how vibrant and eye-catching the colors were. This did have gore and violent zombie scenes, which I liked, but I know many won’t.

I felt just okay with the story overall. It explained very little and it felt disjointed. I was confused most of the time on what was going on. These issues may come from the translation, though.

Even though I personally did not like this as much as I’d hoped, it’s still an intriguing story and something many will enjoy.

This was hands-down one of the best graphic novels I've ever read. I cried more than I would like to admit but also smiled a lot throughout this book too. I have always had a liking for post-apocalyptic books and this one was one of the best. It was graphic and sad but also very heartwarming at the same time. The artist style was amazing, I loved all of the colors and mediums used.

I would definitely recommend reading this graphic novel especially for teens, I feel that they would really enjoy it.

This wasn’t great. The art was both beautiful and kind of horrifying (kind of the point, I think?) I didn’t really *get* the point of it at all.

I enjoyed this graphic novel, but I wanted more. 

The illustration style was cute and that juxtaposed with the subject matter beautifully, but the story itself seemed a little disjointed and was a little confusing.

Ever after is a graphic novel - about zombies and it was done in a very different way 

Vivi and Eva are two travelers in a countryside filled with the undead but their individual stories are very blurred. 
We know both Vivi and Eva have a passed surrounded by death but for the most part its kind of unclear as to how they get to where they are. This graphic novel feels like it was meant to be more of a psychological thriller maybe but it did feel like it was missing that -wow this is creepy- factor 

I didn't hate it though, I love a zombie apocalypse and I did enjoy the art
*now that being said this is about zombies so, it gets gruesome.*

Both girls are struggling with guilt and grief so this is not a light read either 

and its very interesting reading about a zombie apocalypse during a pandemic 
(kinda terrifying actually) so if your mental health is not at its best right now I wouldn't read this 

Over all I give it a 3/5 stars because I did really like the art and as characters I liked Vivi and Eva
