Angelica may only be 23 but she has dealt with a lot in her young life. She is sole carer for her sister Mary who has learning difficulties, brought on from when her mother tried to kill her! She can't make ends meet with the jobs that she has so she decides to make herself into a Blood Courtesan. 

When she sets off for her interview she is waylaid by an assault and is rescued by the lovely drag artists Arabella. When she realises where the job interview is Arabella gives her the makeover from heaven! but she also warns Angelica no to let on that she is a virgin.

The interview doesn't exactly go as planned and when she is leaving she literally bumps into Jameson, transatlantic émigré and a vampire. When he whisks her way she thinks he is training her but she later realises he has her out on a date! What follows is a whirlwind night in the life of vampire who has decided that she is just what he needs!!!

I loved the fast pace of this story. Although it is a bit fantastical that this would happen so fast - it's romantic PNR - it's supposed to be whirlwind! Jameson is the perfect mix of gentleman, dominant and friend. The whole Arabella/Bob thing is kinda hilarious and I ended up referring to them as Barbarella LOL. 

Angel may be naïve but she knows her worth and not willing to be out down by anyone. She wants whatever this thing is with Jameson but she wants her sister saved more. I loved the way the love story evolved to more than just Angelica and Jameson and the little epilogue at the end was just sweet and heartbreaking at the same time!
