I'm exhausted and read this book late at night during a babysitting shift, so maybe I wasn't in the right mindset to really enjoy this story...but I didn't. Admittedly, I'm not generally a fan of dystopian books since the real world feels a bit too much like one, but I had some hopes for this series.
Exodus was certainly a well-written and paced novel, and if you enjoy dystopians like The Hunger Games, Aurora Rising, or Ready Player One, I imagine you would really enjoy this story.
I did truly love the Treenesters, though.

Exodus is a fine story, but it didn't overwhelm me in any way. I'll probably read at least the second book, just to learn more about Fox, but I don't think I'll finish the series unless Book 2 truly astounds me.
