The book itself is very well written and interesting, but quite difficult to follow for the general reader.

The audiobook was also not the best, it starts with a 20-minute glossary for terms you don't have context for that makes it more or less useless. Throughout the whole book the narrator will stop at words and names in Nawat and spell them out, in a way that is frustrating, long, and not very useful. 

Overall I did enjoy it, but I would recommend against the audio book version.
