HI BOOKLOVERS,

Since Netflix is showing Fifty Shades of Darker soon, I decided to re-read this series again. And Surprisingly I was amazed by the storyline although I have already read this again. I was still shocked and surprise how far the storyline with the Movie actually is but the movie is actually good. I love it. 

At least now I read it I can picture who's the character is since I've seen the movie thousand times. I'm not going to put this review long I'm sure people know how good this books is but still no harm to try to re-read it again.

Horrible. Bearable, with a few cute parts, but just horrible. I can be a silly little romantic girl sometimes, so some of this shit gets to me at some point. But I have never hated any author as much as I hate E L James. If this is her attempt at a thrilling, dramatic, suspenseful romance, then she failed miserably. It's just really pathetic and lacks creativity. At some point I started looking forward to the sex scenes because the plot was just too shit. I'm gonna read the third book because well, I came this far, so I might as well.

A lot better then I thought it would be!!! 

This series has been both completely loved and hated. I personally enjoyed the first book(& film) and I actually enjoyed this one more!! The characters are opening up and growing, which I think is a huge importance to this book, yes there are full on sex scenes but that's not the core part of these books!

Dear goodness. I see some folks whose reviews I respect actually like this. I . just . can't. understand. The writing is so childish. The characters are so childish and shallow. Even when you add the layers of complications the writer thinks gives this story depth. The woman is so impuissant. And now it seems there's a death threat to worry with.

Not a big fan of these books. That should be clear. Meanwhile, I should mention that this book uses the words "whisper" or "whispers" about as many times as the Twilight trilogy uses the word "marble".

This continues where the first book left off. 
I'll start by saying while some aspects where better than the first this book was not a major improvement. The same things that bothered me in the first book still apply here. There was a huge portion of the middle that basically followed what happened a chapter ago. For example Christian would get mad then not even two minutes later they would be having sex. I liked the ending and I'm looking forward to completing the series.

Grrrr.....I would have given this book 4 stars based on the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed the mindless entertainment but I decided to only give it 3.5 and here is why:

1. Someone needs to buy E L James a thesaurus. Seriously. Totally annoying when every paragraph contains the words "smirked" or "panting".

2. For someone who was just promoted in the publishing industry, her vocabulary is shockingly juvenile...."Holy Cow!", "Holy Sh**!", "Holy F***!". Honestly.

and

3. Why is it, that every time Christian is in a good or playful mood, Ana feels the need to bring up some topic that she KNOWS is going to put him in a foul mood. She seems to make a consious choice to do this. It's like watching hamsters on a wheel.

Hopefully the author has sorted some of my issues out by the 3rd book, but I seriously doubt it! LOL...That being said, I can't wait to read the next book see how the story concludes.

I'm not sure why I picked this up again. Just a random thought, I guess. I read the first half more than a year ago and put it down because I got bored. I wasn't a fan of the first book, and Christian and Ana were getting on my nerves like nobody's business.

I'm still not a big fan of the series. But I read the second half of this book in practically one sitting. And I actually thought it was (gasp) kind of fun. It wasn't quite as poorly written as the first book, but it was still eye-roll worthy. I mean, no matter how great your relationship is, that amount of sex is completely unrealistic. Besides that, their relationship is based completely on sex, which is a no-no if you want it to last here in the real world. There's no real plot to speak of, and this novel is more of an investigation into Christian's past and who he's becoming. You watch him stop feeding his demons and start facing them. And, also, there is lots of sex. But I might have mentioned that already.

And basically, that's it. It's better than the first book. It's fun. It tries to be pretty dense in some places, but the overall lack of a major plot outside of Christian and Ana doesn't work in its favor. 

And the Twilight comparisons... oh man. She really could've done a better job when she converted this from a Twilight fanfiction series. Those of us who read Twilight more than once have no problem picking out all the similarities. It made me laugh quite often. So, so unprofessional, I can't even say. But then, with the amount of sex in this book and the illogical relationship, I don't think the author was going for professionalism anyway.

And several people used the phrase "Master of the universe" in this book. I just thought it was funny how Ana first used it to describe Christian, and other characters who didn't hear that began to use it. Little discrepancies like that always drive me nuts when I'm reading. 

Basically, this series is a fantasy. Some of us like it, some of us hate it, and it all just depends. Personally, I fall into both categories. The hopeless romantic in me loves how Ana is changing Christian. The reasonable, logical part of me knows that, while stuff like that CAN happen, it usually doesn't.

En este se profundiza mas en el personaje mas interesante de la pareja protagónica, lo cual colabora a fomentar curiosidad en el lector.

yeah, this book was no better than the first. it went from what originally started as a book about BDSM to being a cheesy romance where he becomes the doting, loving man she wants him to be and just gives everything up for her. *gag*
they're engaged....after only knowing each other for what.... 4-5 months? what are they? teenagers? seriously? 
and the ending just wasn't believable at all. you mean to tell me that out of spite (view spoiler)[ homeboy Ana used to work for just magically knew what to do to tamper with a helicopter, which by how did he even get past all of Grey's security measures, in an attempt to kill him for firing him from the job? yeah.... okay.... idk, people said it would get better but to me it just seems like one unbelievable and unrealistic event after another. crazy ex with a gun, possessive mrs robinson, Kate just magically being ok after confronting them about the contract simply because they ~*~love~*~ each other and got engaged. LOL okay.
I just found myself rolling my eyes to the point where they're sore now.

Trying to do this review without giving anything away from the previous book is impossible so if you haven't read it maybe don't read this and just know I that I loved, I devoured and I highly recommend it!

After I finished reading Fifty Shades of Grey I was left an emotional wreck. Yes, I cried a lot at the ending and I thought I could hold off a few days before starting Darker....I lasted a day lol. Why? Because I am completely addicted to this story and of course Mr. Grey is a like drug!!

At the end of Fifty Shades of Grey we see Ana leaving Christian. She is hurt and heartbroken and I felt that. The ending left me devasted for her and Christian. Of course when starting Darker you know they will get back together because well it's a trilogy and it's all about them. :) I had really high hopes for Darker and a lot of people told me it's their favourite and usually when so many people say this I end up being disappointed and I am so glad I wasn't. Darker exceeded my expectations and then some ;) In some ways I thought it was better than Fifty Shades of Grey because the characters developed so much emotionally and we get to learn some of the disturbing truths into why Christian is the way he is. And for me this just makes me love him even more. The relationship between him and Ana has took a turn and he is trying to have a normal relationship with her with less "Kinky Fuckery" Ana I have to admit has grown on me. She isn't as annoying in this one. She is definitely matured as a character. She in madly in love with Christian and all she wants is to be with him but sometimes she feels like she isn't enough for him and does a lot of self doubting which made me want to slap her and say "he is in love you, you crazy fool!"

To me Darker was nearly perfect. It flowed a lot better, writting has improved a lot! The story itself is a lot more exciting and thrilling - yes thrilling some scenes gave me chills - and it's has a little humour aswell. I found myself giggling a lot with some of the things Christian and Ana would say. HOWEVER, even though there was still plenty of sexy times. I found myself wanting more action in that playroom. There was some Kinky scenes but not enough that involved the playroom lol. That being said it wasn't that much a negative to make me rate this any lower than 5/5.

Oh and the ending!!! The ending just make me think the next one is going fulled with drama drama drama!!! Can't wait to get reading!!!

Now I have no idea what else to see without giving away any details from this book. So I will love you and leave you now and just say If you have read Fifty shades of Grey get reading this now! It is truely amazing. Have some tissues though because you may cry A LOT. If you haven't read this series yet what are you waiting for? GO NOW! Go get some Mr. Grey and his Kinkiness!!!

This book is flawed in many ways. Elementary language, repeated words "myriad of", specifically, and childish inner musings. And yet, you fall for Grey and pull for him, and want to watch as he continues to transform. Plus, there's the whole NC-17 thing. I just wish the writing were more important to the author.

           A fitting end with even better endings and reminiscing at the end ooh and a teaser of the first 2 encounters between our favorite brown haired, blue eyed shy girl and our god like copper haired grey eyed Kinky fucker....I loved the wedding and everything about it. The character development for both character throughout the series has been incredible. Anastasia has grown and bloomed from the shy girl to the confident young woman that has captured our tortured but healing strong and wealthy businessman. 

Very well written and thank you for the little scenes from their life together as well as our teaser for Fifty Shades of Grey from Christians POV.
