This story spans four years of high school and one relationship that has its ups and downs. I loved the way the story is told because even though it's always on May 7th, we get the full picture of what happens in between.⁣<br /><br />Lulu and Alex have such a genuine connection and its so fun seeing it play out. I felt like it really portrayed a high school relationship at its best and at its not-so-great moments. Also, these two made me so emotional, I shed a few tears. I loved it and I hope you do too!⁣

Cute, easy to read YA romance. I found the characters and storylines to be pretty realistic to kids in high school trying to navigate friendships, relationships and their futures. If you’re looking for a fun and quick read I recommend!

I thought this book was such a fun concept novel. I really loved how this book followed a series of characters over one "experience" every year and also you had flashbacks that focused on the key moments of this year. I also thought this book was very sex postive and found those topics to be super important. I also really liked the side characters and the LGBTQ focused. I though the traveling elements was the highlight and loved the various places they went. I also loved lu path to publishing and really found this book to great fast pace read. So cute!

This was absolutely adorable. I loved it so much. I'll admit the back and forth pacing threw me a little bit, but I got used to it after a while. I loved the way these two characters had chemistry together, but they were also completely realistic. I think that also partly why I enjoyed it so much. There were somethings that happened that felt very realistic and that just made me feel more connected. I completely recommend this book, it was a cute and easy read!

Four Days of You and Me is the cute story of high school/first love and all the stages it can go through. We get to see the ups and downs of how Lu and Alex continuously come together and fall apart during those four years with each turning point being their end of the year class trip. Written in a new and somewhat unique style where we only get to read about those trips. It jumps from event to event from their freshman to sophomore to junior and then final senior trip. It's the perfect contemporary romance that I've been searching for and that Kenneally has never failed to deliver.

So I want to start with discussing the pacing of this book and the distinct way that it goes event to event. I've come across two other books that have a format like this (My Year in Love & Parties and Maybe This Time) and I strongly disliked both of them. I just couldn't get into only covering major events and missing what exactly what exactly was happening between each event. I felt like I was missing a lot, the format just wasn't working for me. Kenneally came in and kicked butt with this format. It was four major events that broke up this book, four different sections with a majority of chapters being dedicated to the field trips with some chapters that went back to turning events that happened during the year. Instead of being told about what happened during the rest of the school year, we get to read it first-hand and get a bit more understanding to where Alex and Lu both are now. I think that's what finally made this format work for me. Less events, more first-hand background, and Keneally just being an amazing writer.

Destiny

Alright, the dynamic between lu and Alex had me on my seat the entire time. One minute they’re together, and one minute they aren’t, typical freshmen relationships. Although there was growth in their relationship as much as it could be with maturity and it was a growth cheaper through it all for grace, ryan and even max. I enjoyed reading this story with all the character development and while im a sap for teenage relationships and romance, I do have to say I Miley enjoyed this book. Reminded me a lot of love and gelato so thank you for the quick read!
