It was very interesting to see Four's background. I love Four (maybe Theo James is affecting this, but I also do like the character) and it's nice to read how his journey is in comparison to Tris' main character affecting the entire plot. I also liked reading about Amar, Zeke, and Shauna.

Le motivazioni di Four per scegliere gli Intrepidi non hanno senso per me. 
"Devi scegliere per te stesso, non per gli altri!" e lui "ho capito, tranquilli!" e poi; i Candidi no perché mica voglio dire i fatti miei davanti a tutti! (uccidere, picchiare, buttarsi da un treno in corsa invece sono cose che logicamente uno ha molta più voglia di fare!) i Pacifici no perché no (beh mi sembra una motivazione molto profonda!) e gli Eruditi perché "sono intelligente però voglio essere libero" (ma che cavolo vuol dire? dì che non credi di essere abbastanza intelligente per loro!). Ed alla fine sceglie gli Intrepidi di cui dice di non sapere assolutamente niente tranne le cose negative che gli ha detto il padre solamente perché vuole ferire il padre! Sinceramente io non capisco se la Roth ha riletto questo lavoro prima di pubblicarlo o no perché si contraddice tante di quelle volte che ho perso il conto. Se voleva essere libero bastava andare negli esclusi, se veramente Four è Rigido dentro e non è un vero Intrepido 100% scegliere la fazione più diversa dalla tua è segno di idiozia (ecco perché negli Eruditi era meglio se non ci andavi!).

I liked this story because I just wanted to read more about the Divergent world and I really like Four. There is more detail about Four's experience with the test, his relationship with his parents and how he choses Dauntless, but I felt like I already knew a lot of this story.

You know, this story reminded me why I fell in love with Divergent so much. In the beginning Four and Tris were such captivating characters that had so much potential and I feel as the trilogy went on they lost their spark that made them really interesting? Im going to keep this in mind whenever I think about how much I didnt like Allegiant

           Come faceva Marcus a credere che il figlio sarebbe rimasto negli Abneganti? Lo picchi in continuazione e vuoi che resti con te? Nessuno sarebbe rimasto. Magari non tutti avrebbero scelto gli intrepidi, ma avrebbero cambiato giusto per scappare da lui.
La parte del padre padrone poteva farla almeno DOPO che Tobias aveva scelto di restare negli Abneganti non prima!

Well, what can I say? I was missing this saga and its simulations. Veronica Roth did it again. 

Incredible. Four's is an amazing point of view to write on. I like him better than Tris as narrator (was that really neccesary to tell?)

In this little story, we get to know more about Tobias and his transference from Abnegation to Dauntless. The majority of the information we already knew, but not from Four's mouth, so it's great to dive into his thoughts and figure him out a little bit more.

Another nice thing was the return of the Dauntless headquarters as the main settling of the story. In my opinion, that is what makes the first book, Divergent so distinctive. The Dauntless quads are unique, with its dim rooms and corridors.

What caught my attention the most was Eric. Yeah, the tough guy that led the initiates in Divergent. We get to know him right before entering Dauntless and he's shown like a vulnerable and almost fragile being. (view spoiler)[Yeah, before he had the chance to enter to his fear landscape! What a brave guy! (hide spoiler)]

Now, all I have to do is wait till October 22nd to find out if that creepy(view spoiler)[sculpture (hide spoiler)] has something to do with the third book cover.

This one is the only story of the anthology that features Tris! It was heartwarming to read about her again.

Four's narration is more distinctive than the one in Allegiant, so though he retells scenes from the first book, the view on them is completely new, innovative.

I loved it, every single part of it. Here we encounter the Tobias we knew from the start, that tough but sweet, sensitive man that plagues the pages of Divergent.

It's an amazing way to end this journey, full of hard choices and determinations.

Four: The Son

Yeah, as you see, it's the one I liked the least. The story catches up right after the previous one ended. Tobias is now a Dauntless member and he must where to live and what would be his job.

I think the main problem I had with The Son is that something shocking is revealed, something that changes my mind about him. I'd never imagined Tobias keeping a secret like that to the ones he love most (Tris, coff coff) (view spoiler)[I'm talking about his relationship with his mother. He knew she was alive! Damn. Also, he knew a lot about the Jeanine's plan, and when I read Divergent, I didn't suspect he knew that much. (hide spoiler)] Anyway, it's nice to know how it really was. 

So, this one may be the most revealing story of the three, but I didn't like that it changed my view of the facts told on Divergent and Insurgent.

I love reading about Four. You get to see his world on a whole different level that you don't get to experience in the other books. I enjoyed reading about his first experiences while joining the Dauntless and I can't wait to read more!

I love these novellas from Four's perspective. First, I love Four so I'm always looking for another dose of him. Secondly, I *love* learning more about him - his past and his motivation. He's such an intense character and this is helping me to understand what made him that way. I'm so glad I put off reading this until right before the release of Allegiant. This was perfect to help carry me through to Tuesday. :)
