This book is a must read if you are a thriller junkie. Freida McFadden does a phenomenal job twisting and turning the reader's mind as they read The Housemaid #1, and now, The Housemaid #2. I loved how Freida McFadden included hidden easter eggs that reference details from Millie's journey from the first book. I only found one thing to be quite annoying and that was Millie's interest or should I say,"disinterest", in poor Brock. He was a sweetheart. But like Millie says herself, Brock will make a great husband to someone else. I'm satisfied for who Millie ends up with at the end and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. This only being the second book I've read by this author, I'm stoked for more alone time with Freida McFadden's twisted and mind blowing novels.

True to the style of the first book, this sequel read very quickly. We follow Millie's life (with one of the same characters as the last novel), and explore how she moves on from her past. I really liked that McFadden kept the same intensity of the first book, however the format was almost exactly the same (not the plot exactly, but just how she writes). I actually really loved this more adult version of Millie, and felt like it was slightly more relatable than her character in the first novel. Definitely recommend both of these stories.

I love Freida McFadden’s books, they keep you hooked from the first sentence to the last word. I liked the first housemaid book better but both so good

2,5 Stars. I was so excited for this since i really enjoyed the first one. But sadly this one felt repetitive and i could see every twist coming way before it happened. Also do we need to be reminded about how poor Millie is every other page?

McGadden has done it again with this psychological sequel.  Millie is working as a housekeeper for a dangers man.  When she discovers his wife needs a “special cleaner”, she anything in her power to help.  But things turn south when deceit and double crossing comes into play.  Twist and turns to the very last page.
