           This book was nice and short, pretty much a short story, which is fine and it told what it wanted to say. On the other hand, since it is so short, the whole thing felt rushed. I liked the idea behind the story and the twist at the end was shocking, but the middle just kind of… happened. The entire start of the infestation by Them took place over about 24 hours, which, given neither of them believed in the supernatural before those events, was a little too fast for my liking. I would have liked to learn more about Them, more about the couple, even more about the house. The fact that what They are is an open question works for this though. Overall, it was a good quick read. I just wish there was a little more too it.
