NOW THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE A BOOK. As a fan of the Doon series I already knew I highly enjoyed Lorie's writing style but this was something else. Ever since I first heard about this book I was excited and then once it came out I was like oh yeah I wanted to read that! So, I bought it at books by the banks and I'M SO GLAD I DID. Everything about this book was amazing. I loved the idea, it reminded me immediately of the ABC Family/Freeform show Twisted that got cancelled AND I'M SO MAD. You can't end a tv show like that. However, this book was like a relief from that pain and it gave me my own alternate ending that I can enjoy again and again because Ashton. Ashton was like a breath of fresh air, even if he was a little intimidating at times and I loveddddddddd Willow. She was a great main character, she didn't do something really really dumb that made you dislike her and that's the kind of feel a main character needs to have. ALSO THAT EPILOGUE = SWOON WORTHY. I was giggling my head off. My fangirl heart is very happy. Definitely read this book.

I'm surprised I haven't heard more about this YA thriller. While I could guess who was the baddy it was still really well written and compelled me to keep going. There was just enough angst and romance that also helped captivate me lol
