Spoilers incoming: I just.... While I get views on sex and intimacy at the time were...different, I just don't understand why she wouldn't at least tell him the truth after they had began to build some sort of relationship. This whole story could've been cut in half if the two MCs just sat down and talked. Also, while the end I guess served in a way to ease the FMCs feelings about what happened to her, there was no justice or righting of wrongs. Just a "well this man meant to assault another woman but accidentally ended up in your bed AND the man you thought raped you but didn't was also complicit in your shame and guilt by protecting his friend from the fall out of his actions AND now you have to raise his children because you love them - by the way another truth your husband hid from you instead of just trusting and talking to you". So yeah, more 1/5, but I didn't DNF so I guess 2 stars.
