Three-roll Rotary-piercing Operation for the Fabrication of Uranium Tubes

Two tests were performed to evaluate the feasibility of rotary-piercing reactor-grade uranium in the high alpha temperature range. Rotary piercing is one process under consideration in an alternate route being developed for the production of uranium fuel cores.
