I don’t know if maybe this book was too mature for my poetic interests or what, but I felt nothing. I could appreciate the lyrical quality and the word and sound play, but I didn’t feel engaged in anyway. There was no emotion here for me. I don’t think this was bad writing by any means. But it was not my thing. I also HATE the cover and the spine of the book and wish there was a separate place to rate just that.
