Wow, a wonderful book of hope and faith. Very easy to read, you don't want to put it down as you want to keep hearing more and more about what Coulton has seen on his journey. I highly recommend this for all who wonder about what happens after we pass on. It offers many things to think upon.

I really wanted to love this book but it fell short. I know it wasn't supposed to be about the writing, but I honestly couldn't get over how uninteresting the usage was. Granted it was just a father telling a story and not a renowned author....but still. 

That being said the content of the book was pretty inspiring. It wasn't over the top and I didn't cry or anything. Perhaps if I was a parent, I might have. But I'm not. It did open my eyes to view Heaven as way more than just a concept. It also made me strive for a childlike faith and acceptance. 

I especially loved that the father was a Pastor and that he he had trouble coping with all that was happening. He often had the outlook of "I'm a good person, why is this happening to me." And it was comforting to know that even the people we put on pedestals lose their faith sometimes and need to be reminded of basic beliefs. 
It took me a day to read and I don't regret it. It's always good to have a little reminder to accept the present's troubles because the further hold amazing things. 

The story itself is remarkable and so if you're in between books, I'd recommend it. :)

Before the story begins, you consider what Jesus says about little children. They are his favorite and He uses them time and time again in the bible to show adults how overly complicated we make everything in our lives, including our faith. Little 4 year old Colton teaches not only himself, but his family, and now the readers of his story about what Heaven is like. This book touched my heart in ways that fine literature could not - it's simplistic and heartfelt, raw and meaningful - a quick read and highly recommended for those who've ever wondered, believed, and/or look forward to knowing one day for sure.

This is probably going to be the first book I actually 'reviewed' in a very long time. I fell in love with this book the minute I picked it up. The only part I didn't really like was toward the end, because it got really slow. Other than that, I was totally in love with this.

I LOVED this book. It is such a quick read but it really opened my eyes. I would recommend this book to anyone no matter their religious views. I think that this can really make people look at life and religion in a different way.
