I read the third in this series first, so I had to go back and get the backstory so I could finish it! I read this last night, which means that I was interested, and that it was an easy read. Being the first in the series, it had to set up all the stuff that I already knew, and so the Plot didn't start 'til a little later than a normal book would. The characters are very interesting, and I like the drama within Saphy's family. It isn't too stereotypical. A good read for summer, or spring break!
