Hit The Spot is a book I have been wanting the "goods" on ever since I picked up the first book "Four Letter Word" and it's a story that is exactly what I was in the mood for. I was able to listen to it on a long drive, and it was sweet perfect. These narrators really are a great balance together. Both Kate Russell and Sebastian York are special favorites of mine, and they brought the best qualities of this book: front and center in a most brilliant way. 

Hit The Spot begins with our heroine, Tori, who is a waitress at a local restaurant and has a passion for her work. But when she first meets our hero, Jamie, she is torn between sexual attention and disdain for his. He is a typical playboy and she refuses to be like all the other women that fall at his feet. But Jamie is stubborn in his pursuit of Tori, and for months he doesn't give up on winning her over. But then a moment happens between Jamie and Tori, and the stakes between them only go higher. And the chemistry that has been boiling just beneath the surface is about to come up to the top of the focus. But Tori can't resist what she feels for Jamie, and somehow through all these months, has slowly been winning her attention and heart. But their relationship will hit spots of damage and it will take time and focus to work through the spots to their HEA. 

Hit The Spot is a fantastic read and I couldn't get enough of it. Honestly, this was the best medicine that I never knew that I needed. It was packed with all the light and laughter I was sorely in the need of while also delivering on a steamy romance that won me over pretty quickly. I always get drawn to the playboy heroes, and seeing them fall head over heels for their women and Jamie does exactly that here. I found it so entertaining seeing how he had to prove himself to Tori. He isn't the easiest of men to be with, but Tori knows exactly how to handle him in ways that work best for their relationship. While on the surface it may seem like a simple romance, it is anything but. And I really admired how J Daniels really added depths to this story in all the right places. 

Hit The Spot is a story that you won't be able to put down, its a story that swept me easily off my feet and entertained me from beginning to end and I didn't want to let this pair go. Their story is packed with laughs, jaunts, delights and adventures. Buckle your seat belt, because this ride was a wild one!

After reading Four Letter Word, I had no idea how Hit the Spot could possibly be better. I underestimated the talents that J. Daniels possesses because I ended up LOVING this sequel even more! Was it possible it was because of Jamie? Uh, YAAAS!

Jamie and Tori have been at it for so long! Jamie pushes and teases Tori, but she never gives in. She's more pissed off at him than anything, even though she's very much attracted to the guy. When Jamie suggests a bet, Tori is sure she has this in the bag, but Jamie won't play fair. He kicks things up a notch and he's sure Tori won't last. But Tori has a few tricks up her sleeve as well. It turns into a game of teasing until they cave.

I knew I would be in for a major treat with whip cream, chocolate syrup and a cherry on top when I started Hit the Spot. I was already falling for Jamie in the first book and my feelings got stronger for him in this novel. HIs relationship with Tori is so full of tension! I was going insane over here, wanting something to finally happen! The bet made the tension between them intensify. Seriously, these two made fireworks and all the things explode. 

What really made me fall hard for Jamie was the fact that he had been wanting Tori for years and he always said it. I don't think he realized he was falling for her in the process, which made this even better. The fact that when he suggested the bet, he also said they wouldn't be sleeping with anybody else before and after either of them caved, spoke volumes to me. He obviously only wanted Tori and no one else! Tori was also gone for Jamie, but she would fight it a lot. She wasn't sure if she could trust someone who would sleep with anyone. But later on, she realized that maybe he was worth the risk. And when Jamie "hit the spot", which Sydney calls "her soft" meaning her heart, there was no going back. And when Jamie helped Tori's family, I was dying inside. My feels were a mess. It was something he didn't have to do at all, but because he wanted Tori to be happy, he helped without a second thought. So not only is Jamie sex on legs, he also has a massive heart!

I loved that Sydney and Brian were a lot in this novel so we got to see more of them as a couple and the friendships of the foursome. Sydney was such a matchmaker! She would get so excited over Jamie and Tori because she knew they would end up together. All her plans to have them over for Sunday dinner started paying off and then the ending! Gahhh! My heart! I did think that Tori's mini explosion was a little dramatic. If she really knew Jamie, she'd know why he said what he said. I was very happy that she was the one to go after Jamie for a change once she realized her mistake.

"Never loved you more than I do right fuckin' now," I shared. "And that’s saying a lot, 'cause ten minutes ago I was crazy about you."

Overall, Hit the Spot was a total hit for me! I loved Jamie and Tori so much! Their relationship was so hot and so full of tension and so beautiful! I fell hard for both characters and their stories. J. Daniels wrote a fantastic story that I'm never going to forget. I mean, who can forget Jamie McCade? No one!

Guess what? J..Daniels release the second book, Hit The Spot, in the Dirty Deeds series. Hit The Spot is another fantastic book because you will not stop reading since it has it all wrap in one. 
Hit The Spot will begin Jamie and Tori story since the readers got glimpse of their attraction in Four Letter Word. Jamie and Tori have hot attraction for each other but they both have different personality and goals that it makes no sense for them to be together until now.
Jamie is the all time player that he gets any women since he is sexy man that you cannot blame him. But he is much more than a player. He is a kind and understanding man that he will have your back no matter what. 
Tori is a sweet yet fricky woman. She has so much to give but she is getting tired of giving that she limits herself. 
Tori is definitely attracted to Jamie but she knows he is a player that it won't be serious whatsoever. But Jamie is determine to loose her up since she needs to let go a little. Tori and Jamie are going to be a challenge together because they have some things to figure out so they can be together.

Holy WOW!!!! Jamie and Tori's story hit all the right spots in my book. 

It was filled with so much emotion and I felt every bit of it. And Jamie, that man made me swoon so damn hard. His alpha tendencies were just enough that it wasn't overdone. You could really feel how much he really cared for Tori. 

I fell in love with Tori in FLW. Her relationship with Sydney is one of my all time favorites when it comes to best friends. I loved how much of a fight she gave when it came to letting Jamie in. After what she went through, with the last relationship she was in, it showed just how strong she really is. 

I just loved this book, this series, and all of the characters. And I hope we get more because I really want a Shay and Stitch story :)

​When I had first read about Jamie and Tori in Four Letter Word, I thought they were really entertaining, but that it was never going to work because Tori is stubborn as a mule, and Jamie is an idiot. However, this book proved me wrong. Well right as well. Legs and Jamie are IMMENSELY entertaining (had to use another word other than "Wildly" because that's Syd and Brian's thing). 

Tori and Jamie are so powerful together it kind of makes me sad, because they have this one of a kind love that is extremely hard to come by. Their attraction and feelings for each other are multiplied with the time they spend denying one another. However, the back and forth did get a little out of hand at times. I get that it's their "game", but jeez, Jamie keeps saying "straight up", and I'm just here like: "Thank God someone is in this book".

At first, I was a little skeptical about Tori because of how stubborn she is. It gets to the point where you want to just yell at the book "ADMIT IT ALREADY!". Well, when you experience "her soft", it completely changes your perspective of her, and you slowly start taking her side. 

Regardless of the small amount of frustration I had reading this book, I really enjoyed it!

I loved Four Letter Word, and couldn’t wait to get to know Jamie and Tori a bit more in Hit the Spot. This group of friends is one of my very favorites. Though you don’t have to read Four Letter Word prior to reading this one, I would highly recommend it. First of all, it’s amazing, so why wouldn’t you want to read it? Secondly, we do get a little glimpse into Jamie and Tori in the first book, so the anticipation to read more in Hit the Spot is just that much more hyped up!

I wasn’t sure I was going to truly fall for Jamie. Let’s face it… I’m totally not a bad boys kinda girl. I almost always go for the sweetheart. The super-adorable guys that are so caring and loving all the time. The dorkier and nerdier the better. But let me tell you guys, I totally fell for Jamie! He’s egotistical, conceited, and a major jerk at times… but he has such a sweet heart, it made me just want to hug him. Yes, this bad boy won me over. Hard. I can now officially say that I fell for a bad boy.

Tori was impossible not to love as well. This girl is snarky as all hell, but man, she’s also loyal and reliable to the people she cares about. I loved reading about her friendship with Sydney. These two are the perfect example of BFF goals. They were always there to help when needed, fight the other’s fight if necessary, and catch each other when they were falling. I loved these girls!!

The love/hate relationship with Jamie and Tori was HAWT!!! I’m such a fan of this trope. To me, it just never gets old. I love the bickering between the two, and the sexual tension throughout while they refuse to “lose” their bet or give in to their desires for each other. It definitely makes for an intense and Kindle-gripping story!

I’m such a J. Daniels fangirl. I will continue to recommend these books over and over again. They’re just so entertaining, addicting, and unputdownable. If you’re a romance reader, definitely check out this series!

I’ll admit, I wasn’t the biggest fan of Jamie when I read Four Letter Word (I’m pretty over player heroes) but I was excited for the prospect of an enemies-to-lovers romance, and I really liked Tori. I couldn’t wait to see how Jamie would be in love, with no OW drama, and J. Daniels didn’t disappoint me. The Jamie in this book might the same crude, no-filters kind of guy as he was in the previous book, but his eyes and attention are all on Tori. I loved the banter and the chemistry between these two – if you’re looking for a romance with a well-done enemies-to-lovers trope, then I highly recommend Hit the Spot!

To say Tori has a less-than-stellar first impression of Jamie would be an understatement. He’s a manwhore through and through, completely dismissive of love and relationships, and she wants nothing to do with him. Jamie, though, can’t seem to stay away from her and is determined to get her into his bed. It’s nothing but constant barbs and banter between these two… until Jamie ups the stakes and challenges Tori to a bet: the first person to give in and beg for sex from the other loses, and they can’t sleep with anyone else in the meantime.

I closed my eyes. God. What was more dangerous? The heartbreaker or the breath-stealer. Player Jamie or the man who let me touch him like he was mine.
I didn’t know.

Tori and Jamie give as good as they get trying to make the other lose – and I had the best time reading about it. It was so fun and amusing to read about these two taunting and teasing each other. Their shenanigans definitely had me giggling. But more than that, there was something deeper going on in between the taunts and quips – Tori starts seeing Jamie as more than the player that he used to be, so is it possible to trust her heart with him? Jamie, we learn, has always wanted Tori – both her body and her heart. And he’ll do whatever it takes to win all of her and keep her for himself.

I wanted everything. Her body, her mind, her sanity. Having her break into my house or coming to my fucking work. I wanted her ruined.
I wanted Tori Rivera as fucked up and crazy about me as I was about her.

Hit the Spot is such a fun read. It’s a funny, sexy, feel-good romance that had me glued to the pages. I ended up losing all my reservations about Jamie and he totally stole my heart by the end – he and Tori make the most adorable, crazy couple ever. One thing that got on my nerves though, was the ‘alpha’ way Jamie talked – I quickly got tired of all his dropped g’s and never using the subject in a sentence. But if you have no problem with alpha-male speak, then this shouldn’t be a problem for you. Otherwise, besides that, I adored Hit the Spot. It was the perfect fun read to take my mind off my upcoming finals. If you love J. Daniels and especially if you enjoyed Four Letter Word, you should definitely get your hands on Hit the Spot!
