Home for the Holidays by Sara Richardson is a sweet, contemporary, romantic drama that will bring you some holiday spirit and share the value of family. 

I always love Sara Richardson's books: They feel realistic yet whisk you away. She brings romance, family, friendship and life into a book that makes you feel like you would know the characters. This book was no different! It wasn't purely a romance, but it did dip in that department. It also wasn't purely dramatic either, but it had some drama. The whole focus on this book is three sisters learning to adapt to their changing environments: love, loss, family and friendship. It's one great book and I kind of hope it turns into a series so I can see more of these lovely characters.

Dahlia, Magnolia and Rose are relatable and lovable characters in not so amazing situations. They are all unhappy in some way or another. But, don't worry, they'll end up happy by the end of the book - maybe just not in the way you expected. Troubled relationships, difficulty getting pregnant and family secrets will flutter across the page, and by the end you'll feel warm and fuzzy about it all. Who doesn't love an uplifting holiday book? 

I may have read it after the holidays, but honestly I needed it now. I needed the happy, go lucky, holiday spirit kind of book that this book provided. With all the insanity of the world going on and on, a book like this makes you feel that maybe there is a hope out there for a happily ever after.

This book is cozy and I highly recommend you pick it up if you love a good, sweet read.

If you are looking for a new read with a cozy holiday romance vibe, then Home for the Holidays is the one for you. Once you have started reading Home for the Holidays, then you will not want to stop at all. You will want to know more and more about these sisters and how they will navigate their lives while visiting their Aunt for the holidays.The Buchanan sisters are finally getting together thanks to their Aunt. And it’s definitely the perfect time for them since each of them are facing major life decisions. I find myself loving Dahlia from the beginning. She is such a joy to read about. She does so much for others that she often forgets about herself. But this trip to her Aunt will make her realize that there is more to her life. It may be a struggle at first but she will realize what she wants toward the end. And expect a wonderful surprise from a cute guy. You will know what I am talking about when you pick this book.Magnolia is such a cutie! And I definitely feel for her. She really wants a baby but it’s becoming turmoil for her and her marriage. It takes a toll especially on her. This trip to her Aunt will give her a new perspective and make her realize what’s important. It may not be what she expected but it’s definitely a wonderful surprise. Trust me.Rose. Rose. I really wanted more for Rose but she has to do it. I see her doing so much for other people that it’s not for her. Sooner than later, it’s what makes you happy. Life is too short. Do what makes you happy, Rose.I truly did not expect to love Home for the Holidays but I am happy that Forever sent me a copy. I am absolutely a big fan of Jill Shalvis and to know that she was a fan of this book. I had to read this book, and I don’t regret it. It’s just a warm cozy read that you want to know more about their lives. And what adventures we expect coming up.

Winter is still a few months away, but it’s never too early to start reading holiday & cozy books – which is why I have a holiday book recommendation/review for you guys today! I finished reading Home For The Holidays by Sara Richardson this week, and it was really good. It’s a book about family, sisterhood and finding your true self among people who care the most about you. Many thanks to the publisher for sending me a free review copy! ❤ I rated the book with 4.5/5 stars.

Home For The Holidays was the fluffiest book ever! From the moment the three sisters ; Magnolia, Dahlia and Rose stepped into the inn, I felt a cozy sense of warmth bubbling inside me. The winter setting in the mountains of Colorado along with the descriptions of small town life made the book such a wonderful escape from my quarantined life. :’)

Sara Richardson’s writing style is so flawless and engaging; I was swept into the world of Juniper Springs from the very beginning. I had no trouble connecting with the story. The characters were perfectly written as well. The POVs shift between Dahlia, Mags and Rose and I loved seeing how their lives unfolded through the magic of Juniper Inn. Each of the characters had their own quirks and attributes, but I loved how all of them were linked with the tie of sisterhood. Experiencing how they found their truest selves just by being with each other was so heart-warming. The sisters’ love for each other was definitely my favorite part of the story.

Home For The Holidays surprised me with how genuinely it dealt with pressing issues in the sisters’ lives – be it infertility, divorce or relationship troubles. Holidays novels are all about cheesy plots most of the time, so I loved how HFTH had a realistic touch to the story. The book also had plenty of twists and turns, which made it unputdownable!

I wanted Sassy, the three sisters’ aunt to be more involved in the story, and have more appearances. I also thought one of the romances in the story was unnecessary, since it didn’t make any difference to the plot. Except for these two things, I enjoyed reading Home For The Holidays with all my heart.

If you’re a fan of Hallmark movies, pick the book up for a dash of coziness in your life!
