I don't know what I expected when I started reading this book but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. There are really 3 POV's that happen throughout the book, which usually annoys me, but the author tends to switch the POV at appropriate chapter breaks and it's obvious whose POV you are in at the moment. 
There is one point, however, near the end of the book where I got confused. I knew which character POV was being used but the time frame thru me off. I had to go back a couple of times and them I got hit by a clue by 4.
IMO the author left an opportunity for a sequel, but I kind of hope that isn't the case. Which I admit is odd because I liked the book but I have no desire to read a sequel

Psychological thrillers aren't something I read everyday,so this was a welcome change,oh well,all psychological thrillers are.Do I need mention that it was the blurb that caught my attention?Yes,it was the blurb that drew me to the book.And now,let's get into talking about this book!

The cover of the book ,as far as I know,speaks of a certain place in the book,The Hollows woods,if I remember right.That place is like the centre of the book,like not in the way that everything in the book happens there,but more like the root of everything lies there,so you know,in my opinion,there couldn't have been a better choice of cover.

The title,I didn't actually figure out what it might mean,but as all other such times ,I'll make a wild guess.The Ink might refer to how the Hollows grip spreads far and wide,and how it gets what it wants,and Bone,probably the hole/ditch that we come across at the end,you 'll know I'm talking about if you have read the book,if not,you should go give it a read.

The writing style is not very complex,it has a style,a thrill to it,though at places it was a bit difficult to grasp the meaning.And it took time to get into the book,like I mixed up characters in the first few chapters,which I actually had to reread,the whole New Penny,Old Penny thing was a bit confusing.Oh wait,I just realised something!Holy crow!I got to go and check about it asap,but don't worry it's no way affecting the review cause the review is spoiler free!

The first half of the plot was kind of slow,a bit dragged and not much happening but almost everything that happened in the first half was important to set stage for the second half,like some details might feel like just a filler,but mind me,they all play a role towards the final solution.And also,at some point of the book,like long before the final solution,you'll feel like there's not much more to be revealed and all that is left to happen is for the two separate happenings ,those with Finley and those with the little girl,to come together.And then the plot twist smacks you in the face.Those were my favourite parts,the completely unexpected twists out of just nowwhere.But I must tell you,the story is horrifying and chilling and sad and joy,but believe me when I say it was worth it.I'm actually super glad I asked it for a review,cause otherwise I wouldn't ever have read this book.

We are left out with the characters now.Every character,especially the good ones are independent ,strong-willed characters in their own way.Take the protagonist Finley.SHe has the strength to do what is right, her decision making abilities are really appreciable,the way she follow her gut instincts,yes,she is initially unsure of her abilities,but hey ,that's what character development is all about,right?
