Convergence and Circuit Partitioning Aspects for Waveform Relaxation

Abstract: "This paper gives a mathematical investigation of the convergence properties of a model problem which, at first sight, seems to be unsuitable for waveform relaxation. The model circuit represents a limiting case for capacitive coupling where the capacitances to ground are zero. We show that the WR approach converges. Since the convergence is generally slow we discuss appropriate techniques for accelerating convergence."
