Awful. Maybe it's the huge expectation I created because of the title or the author who did it wrong this time.

The story takes place in a secluded village forgotten by time, each tale should represent one of the deadly sins and at first it even convinces but by the end of the second chapter it had stopped impressing me, perhaps due to lack of creativity in each story it it uses more and more graphic violence (aka gore) and less premise, it even seems that the themes are repeated between each book.

Also, something that bothered me a lot – and I had already noticed it in other works by Raphael Montes – is the lack of tact when approaching certain themes, the story of Mobudo and about lust were so insensitivity perhaps the author's intention was to approach the subject racism at the end it seemed he is the racist in fact, the dehumanization of the black characters and the various racist terms were totally unnecessary, the story about lust addresses subjects such as pedophili* and rap* as if the author liked to romanticize the themes.

I've read other books by the same one and had been pleasantly surprised, but this book in question is a huge no for me.
