Bairns Scottish Children in Photographs

This work provides a pictorial history of children in Scotland during the last century. The photographs feature children from all backgrounds - town and rural, rich and poor, at home, at school, at play and at work. Dorothy Kidd captions the photographs from the Scottish Ethnological Achive in order to supply details of the children's lives.
