This one just fell a bit flat for me, unfortunately. I'm not really sure why. It doesn't have the same emotional moments that I connected to as a kid. And maybe that's the problem - I'm reading this for the first time as an adult (that I can remember) rather than a child. Then again, I just read Margit for the first time and loved it. So maybe Izzie will just be at the bottom of the list. Anyway, this series is still great and Izzie is part of it, so that is worth something.
