Im ngl, im reading this series as a "easy read, not too much to think abt, guilty pleasure"... with that being said, this cliff hangers?!?! They're gonna be the death of me. The one from the 2nd book? OK, fine. Got over it pretty quickly. Now, this one?! From the 3rd book?! How dare u?? Now I HAVE to finish this series smh.

When I read an RH I want a cohesive story where they are all living a cohesive life but this is a series of one book per bond and the spice ain’t spicing for me at all. 

This seems like a girl dating multiple guys like on the bachelor not an RH

It was the third book from the series, and I start getting slightly bored with it. The plot in each book is basically = 80% nothing interesting happens, and then the last 10-20% BOOM some action. Only in this book, the action was still in the first few chapters. I'm halfway through and I already think six books are unnecessary. 

The heroine finally starts to get involved with 2 more of her bonds, and I have a feeling Gryphon, North and Nox are author's favourites. My kinda too. North Draven gives "I hate everyone in the world but you", so it's hard not to like him. Gabe and Atlas start to look more and more like side characters.. sorry but it’s true.

There is a lot of things unresolved from last books, and I think there will be even more. 

You if you are going to read this series for spicy scenes, in the first three books there is not a lot of them. This book has the most, so probably the next books will be spicier. 

One of the best things about the series are the covers. You have to admit they are gorgeous.

Powering through these books right now. Still mediocre writing, good story, literally don’t understand how I’m ready so much and simultaneously so little at the same time. Like in 500 pages, so little has happened. Anyways, plot twist- cliff hanger of horror. What a way to end the book. Now I’m upset.

I can absolutely do without the characters using bond/bonded as a term of endearment (even sweetness like please stop)… My eyes are crossing with how many times I’ve read the word bond. However, the books are getting better. I’m really loving the relationships between her and SOME of the “love interests” (I refuse to use the B word lol). I’m enjoying the multiple POV’s in this one because I’ve been dying to know what some of these characters are feeling. Atlas is still annoying, icky and suffocating. I’m just waiting for him to disappear at this point. The series is entertaining and it’s easy to breeze through. Although there are still plenty of plot holes. Like how is it that the big bad resistance still has no idea who Oleander’s circle of men are when their entire community (infiltrated too) is in the know? And why is her hair white?! We as readers are left in the dark just as much as North Draven. Crossing my fingers for some more spicy action for our main girl and hopefully some more answers.

It’s clear to me now that the author prioritizes characters over plot in this series. We still have almost no clue why the Resistance are coming for Oli and her Bonds other than a few throwaway sentences that are never confirmed. The author is now referring to the bond Oli has as a god, which just seems fucking random because yet again, no one explains it. However, again, I did like the character development here - how Oli’s relationships with her Bonds grow, how the Bonds have been interacting with each other. I think the move to multiple POVs was good and helped flesh out the character development as well. But again, there are things the author hides from us, like Nox’s past (which I think I can guess at by this point but still), that I think she believes is a plot device but is really just keeping the reader in the dark over important info. The sex is also just one note and very quick, like I don’t believe she knows how to write those scenes and it surprises me considering how affectionate she’s made these characters that during the actual spice, it’s very perfunctory. I want these books to be better than they are - the ideas are totally there.

Another great book. I really enjoyed seeing more of the guys pov and as well as getting more answers. I’m also really liking the spicy rating notching up a lot!
I was a bit sad about Sage et. Al not being around as much, but I realise there has to be drawbacks.
Also, Nox is an arse.

That ending. Was not ok. I’m sorry. What?

Well, after extremely enjoying the first two books. I am a bit disappointed by this one ngl.

It is getting a bit repetitive tbh. And the pattern we see on books 1 and 2 is pretty much the same on this one. So I find it hard for me to enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the first two. And I'm getting less attached to the characters 😬 especially now that the angst between 4 out of 5 bonds are over... I'm just... bored.

Of course my favorite scene was North and Oli's bonding scene 🤭 that earned some extra points hehe

Well, there's still a lot of progress to make with Nox and I can't wait to learn more about his struggles and see eventually his growth. There's just that motivating me right now.

That and the fact that I suspect that Oli, North and Nox share a special bonding since there bond is kind of the same nature ? With their own consciousness etc

So, finally. FINALLY OUR GIRL IS DOING WHAT SHE NEEDS TO AND THE GUYS ARE UNDERSTANDING THAT OLI IS A SUPER FUCKING BADASS. A badass that needs hugs and cuddles, obviously.

I loved this book. It set lots of things in motion, I got a better understanding of some things and the personalities of almost everyone. The pacing slowed down a bit but I get it, this one had more information so it was a a lot to take in. Oli, I love that woman. GO FUCKING GRYPHON🖤🖤 North and Atlas are battling for second. I can’t wait for Gabe and Nox… still don’t know what to think there.

This picks up right where Savage Bonds left off—with Oli and Kieran in the hands of the resistance. I really think J Bree should consider adding a “previously on” recap at the beginning of each book in this series because I straight up forget every single detail every time I start reading—the world building and magic system is so unique and complicated that I really think it would be beneficial. ANYWAY.

Blood Bonds really showcases Oli’s growing power, and how much of a fucking BADDIE she really is. She goes from one completed bond to three by the end of this bad boy, and I’m really excited to see how her power continues to grow when she completes her remaining 2 bonds.

The spice was definitely kicked up a notch in this one as compared to books 1 & 2–and I loved seeing how mutually obsessed Oli and her bonded are with each other both before and (especially) after bonding. 

This should come as no surprise but I’m most interested Oli’s most dickish bonded: Nox. We were left with a lot of lingering questions regarding Nox and his backstory, and I’m really hoping that we get some answers in book 4. Overall really enjoying this series!
