So this is book two in the Fritz brother series, and man J. Saman did not disappoint again. This one is about Carter and Grace who happens to be Oliver’s best friend (like literally his ride or die). Grace is in her third year of residency and Carter is her attending (supervisor). They do have this chemistry with each other but Grace just ended a relationship and her heart is still raw from it. Carter and Grace become roommates and things get a bit hectic from there. I am not going to go into any spoilers but it is good. I found myself in sync with Grace and Carter because whenever they did something crazy I would roll my eyes and then the next words on the page was that they rolled their eyes too. The chemistry is there, the female independence is there and we must have the alpha male trope there too and it’s perfect. Oh and the preview for the next book…..
