I am a sucker for fake relationship romances. They are undoubtably the best trope and this book did not disappoint on doing it justice. 

Doctor Scandalous follows Oliver Fritz and Amelia Atkins. When Oliver proposes Amelia acts as his fiancee during their ten year high school reunion, their harmless prank turns into something more. After all, it’s hard to keep up a ruse when real feelings are starting to bloom. 

Oliver Fritz is the “charming one” of the Fritz brothers. He was the popular jock back in high school. He’s been burned before by his ex-gf and has sworn off love but something about Amelia has him wishing for more than their situationship. Oliver is known for being the nice one, the charmer but behind closed doors he’s a man with a dirty mouth and a soft spot for Amelia and Layla. 

Amelia a hardworking nurse who has had a rough past. Her last relationship has scared her of commitment. After losing her parents, Amelia steps up to take care of her younger sister Layla. She is loyal and caring to her sister and the love they share is deep. When Oliver offers to keep up their fake relationship how can she say no when her sister’s future is on the line? 

The line between real and fake become blurred with every interaction and feelings become muddled in their ruse. Somewhere along the way Oliver and Amelia became attached and it’s hard for both of them to let go of each other. Their relationship was sweet and passionate and I loved how much Oliver wanted to take care of her. 

My favourite part of this book was definitely Oliver’s relationship with Layla. It was so cute and warmed my heart how much he embraced Layla and cared for her. 

I’m excited to see where this series goes with the Fritz brothers. The sneak peak we got of Carter and Grace was such a tease for what is to come and I can’t wait!

4.5 Stars, this book was great from the beginning. I mean who doesn't want to go to their high school reunion just to see what everyone is up to. But when Oliver was "forced" to come thanks to his BFF Grace he was dreading it. I mean Dr. Oliver Fritz was a billionaire bachelor and everyone wanted him. Amelia was a scholarship kid that attending the high school and that was only because her father worked there and she was bullied by the rich kids but what she didn't know was that Oliver had a secret crush on her so imagine her luck when they ran into each other outside the reunion. Since Oliver did not really want to be there alone and didn't want to be bothered with everyone he came up with the idea that him and Amelia should have a fake relationship and pretend that they were engaged. And so the engagement went, it was only supposed to last 3 months and there were tow reasons behind it (I will not spoil it). To sum it up you have a handsome doctor and a plastic surgeon nurse that are from two different sides of the track and they both have had their hearts broken and are scared to love again. I gave it 4.5 because I was getting kind of annoyed with the back and forth and how stubborn they were when it came to feelings, but I loved it and I cannot wait for book 2. I think I know who that book is about and I cannot wait.
