I was a bit annoyed with Elizabeth in this book, (view spoiler)[it was her fault that word got out that Jessica was a thief, even though Jessica didn't make it hard to think so. I would have taken the money as well, 1912? that would be years later. The teacher who misplaced the class money annoyed me the most. You couldn't find where you put it so you decided to blame someone else instead of diligently searching for it.
