The plot jumped around a ridiculous amount, and I don't really understand the point of the story? There are key moments that could have definitely been built up and worked into the plot, but these moments were somewhat haphazardly thrown in throughout the book without any meaningful connection to the other events in the story. It was all very cliche and predictable, even the characters most deepest inner thoughts were something to snooze over. Jane Green, like any other contracted to mass publish every six months on a grand scale, is very hit and miss. Books like Tempting Fate leave a linger and make you think, where as one like this is more for a snoozy beach day, where you don't care if you accidentally leave it behind in the sand. Sorry Jane, ily!

I loved this book. It made me laugh, made me cry and made me really care about the characters. I love Jane Green's books and can't wait to read another one!
