I Found You was a beautiful, emotional book about fate, love and two people finding exactly what they needed in each other. I didn't know exactly what I was getting myself into when I began reading this book, but it exceeded my expectations. I thought it was going to be a fluffy feel-good romance. It was so much more than that. I Found You gave me angst and emotion, tough histories, family conflict and some steamy scenes. It was truly a roller coaster ride and, unlike a lot of books where I just *know* everything is going to work out perfectly in the end, I never felt like I knew which direction the story was headed. I was never positive these characters would get a happily ever after. Did they? Well, you'll just have to read and find out. 

Rachel was a wreck. Understandably. Jason discovers her about to jump from the Manhattan Bridge one night. He talks her down and takes her home with him. He was a genuinely good guy and he wanted her to be somewhere safe. Somewhere she wasn't alone. They formed a quick bond, much to the chagrin of his long distance fiancée and his family. It's only a matter of time before their true feelings – and other secrets –are revealed. Here's where the tough part begins. Can they work out their issues, triumph over their adversaries and find love and happiness together? 

It took me a little bit of time to connect with Rachel. It was hard to get a read on her. The reason behind this became clear as more information about her was revealed. About halfway through the book, I found myself completely invested in her and her health and happiness. Jason was easy to connect with. He's the kind of boyfriend any girl would want. They were imperfectly perfect together. They complemented each other well. They had very obvious chemistry and strong feelings for each other. 

This was my first Jane Lark book. I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style and this book. The setting, the storytelling and the characters made this a great, relatively quick read. I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.
