Even before the tragic death of his older brother, Isaac Campion has a difficult relationship with his horse-dealer father. Now the ill-feeling between them deepens as does the bitter feud with rival horse-dealer Clem Lacey. Isaac's father wants to master Isaac but he has a mind of his own.
