FRIENDS TO LOVERS WITH FAKE DATING AND MUTUAL PINING?! And BEST FRIEND’S OLDER BROTHER.. I ate this up.. It was so fluffy and sweet and I just love Gabe and Danielle so much.. Something about friends who slowly start developing feelings for each other and realizing how they feel just makes me go feral every single time!! I definitely loved dani and how relatable her insecurities were (made me just wanna hug her), and the way she was slowly getting over the emotional abuse her mother put her through over her looks.. and I just loved how supportive Gabe was and how he would do anything to literally make her smile…
(You would break your back to make me break a smile.. is one of my favorite lines on midnights after all)
Also, the way he would keep touching her and playing with her hair their love language is definitely physical touch and it was so sweet.
I need to immediately read the previous books in the series and book 4 cause Cal and Elle?!
