I really enjoyed reading this book. The fmc is very interesting and funny. Although I didn’t fall in LOVE with any of the mmcs, fmc and the story was enough to keep picking up the book. The story is very creative and loved that it’s about greek mythology. Although I’ve found the SWA a bit repetitive and think the days and tasks in there could have been more interesting, it didn’t take off from my experience of the book.

I enjoyed this so much. I was a little skeptical because of the Greek mythology, but truly, it plays such a little part. Our FMC is hilarious. You will laugh. You will scream. And then you’ll laugh again. The whole premise of this is so much fun to learn about and I think the author did a great job of building out the world in this. 

finished it in one day - sometimes the dialogue really took me out of the world building but still page turning!

Really really enjoyed this book, very different concept to a lot of books, I love mythology and loved the new take, was dark and twisted but funny and had me holding my breath, really enjoyed!

This book is such a trip. I highly recommend via audio because the narrator brought the FMC’s sarcasm absolutely to life. 

This book is not for everyone. To me it’s a dark romance first, fantasy second. I’ve never read Zodiac Academy but maybe it would be similar? It has all the hallmarks of a bully romance where they go overboard to her face but then secretly protect (only in some ways). 

The whole trials thing is extreme and you never know who is going to die but idk I had a fun time. I’ve actually never had that much fun with a dark romance before. It’s a slow burn in this book but I have a feeling the next one things are about to explode.

Purely for the story line. The plot was good but the writing (in my opinion) was poor, it had potential but there wasn’t enough world building, detail and actually funny comedic sections for my liking. 

Saying all that, will I be reading the next one? Probably. But will I be excitedly waiting for it to be released? Probably not. 

I liked the idea of the world that was created but I didn’t get to see enough of it. Other than that, it had its moments - the tension between characters was built perfectly. But the end left me confused….

FUCKING LOVED IT. It was so very hyped, yet written so well. It hooked me in on the first page. Teased with 'Bonds of Hercules' the second book to the series that COMDS OUT IN NOVEMBER 😭😭. 

But overall it was a reall captivating book that i would read again.

3.8/5  Overall I enjoyed this book. I loved the lore but also didn't quite like some of the writing choices. If you can survive a bit of fanfiction vibes scattered throughout the book and continue reading it did seem worth it (at least to me). Also love the subtle hints dropped for plot twists and the ending which perfectly sets the scene for a second book.

Anyone giving this book less than a 4 stars is insane! This Romantasy is one of the best I’ve read in a long time. The story is funny, page turning, slightly smutty, and bone chillingly gruesome. I loved every part of this story and can’t recommend it enough if you are a fan of fantasy and scary powerful and sexually frustrated men. Not yet sure how I feel about the reverse harem aspect, but I will definitely be picking up book 2 once its released in 2025.

it was okay, kaso ambobo kasi XD. like they portay the fmc as smart pero mf doesn't learn the customs of their world... like ang dami niyang hindi alam..? i guess i shouldn't have expected a lot from a book I found on tiktok...

it's reverse harem din, which I don't mind but nabobobohan lang tlg XD. Cause like the men are lowk dropping hints in their fucked up ways tapos the girl was not getting it??? it's a fun read sana if the ending wasn't fucken stoopid. 

also spoiler but hercules pangalan niya tapos anak ni hades nd persephone???????? tapos hermes' symbol is a fish?? LIKE HERMES??? THE MESSENGER OF THE GODS W THE WINGS ON HIS SANDALS/FEET HERMES??? tf u mean a fish.

I hated how the author went about getting the mc together nd some of the men? kasi it was legit forced? like she didn't even want 2 marry them but wala siyang choice kasi yung betrothal gift na binigay sa kanya, like if it was given to u nd u opened it it means u accept the proposal, which is stupid kasi nga she doesn't know. Tapos speaking of betrothal gift who the fuck gives body parts as betrothal gifts??? THE WORSE PART ABT IT WAS THEY WEREN'T EVEN BAD PEOPLE (yung kinuhaan ng body parts) LIKE THE GIRL LIKED TALKING TO THE SIREN (one of the betrothal gifts was some of his parts :(() LIKE I COULD KIND OF GET IT IF IT WAS YK A BAD PERSON WHO HURTED HER BUT NO, like why did they kill the good poging siren who was just happy that they finally had someone to talk to who understands them, like sure my guy was lusting over the girl but he wasn't doing anything???? the sirens were JUST LIKE THAT. But they didn't do anything about the stupid fucking bully?????? ALSO THEY WERE STALKING HER BUT THEY DIDN'T SEE THE THREATS THAT SHE WAS SENT???? 

anw still gonna read the second book when it comes out just so I can know how it ends. also cause ma-aadd sa harem si patroclus and achilles and they're a couple doon WHAHAHAHAHAH,

this was bad. the writing was really bad. i felt like i went to jupiter and got more stupider. it sucks because the idea is interesting, but the world building was truly confusing. the heavy handed characterization was pathetic. and the dialogue was truly diabolical. also there were very large tones of misogyny in here.. i was hoping that they would get addressed at the end, but i don’t really think they did? it was brain rot, truly.
