dnf because i was bored. could i have finished it? sure. if i had literally nothing else to do. it’s not the worst book i’ve ever laid eyes on but i just got about 20% in before coming to the conclusion that finishing wouldn’t make me feel excited, accomplished, relieved, anything. so why continue?

easy and quick read. nothing really special in my opinion. every character was actually insufferable and there was some creepy moments but for a haunted house book it was not really frightening like i wanted it to be
