I decided to read this book after watching the movie adaptation. Although an inspiring story I do believe the movie was the better format for this. The book details a lot of things which are slightly repetitive and isn’t what I would call a novel. I didn’t realize until after I bought it but it is basically a collection of the blog posts she made during the voyage thrown into a book with minimal additional text surrounding the details. I think I would have enjoyed this more if it was less just a copy paste of the blog post and more of an interpretation. That being said I recommend everyone explore this story because it’s pretty incredible!
